Psalms ◦ Chapter 125

1Those who trust in the Lord are a stronghold of love — like Mount Zion;
they cannot be shaken but will endure forever.

2As the mountains surround and protect Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds and protects his people
both now and forevermore.

3The power of selfishness will not rule over the righteous,
for the godly will not choose to do wrong.

4Do good, O Lord, to those who love good,
to those whose hearts are in tune with you.

5But for all who cling to selfishness,
the Lord will let them go, along with all who prefer evil.
Health and salvation to all, who with God, overcome.
