As Platinum sponsors, C&R attended the American Association of Christian Counselors from Sept 24 – 27, 2025, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, Nashville, TN, exhibiting at booth 313.
This convention, held every two years, was, again attended by a sold-out crowd of over 7,000 counselors, pastors, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and others in the christian sphere of counseling and help for people in need. Needless to say, our booth, set up right next to Honeylake Clinic, where C&R founder and president, Timothy R. Jennings, M.D. is medical director, was heavily attended as we gave away thousands of free publications, including the new reprint of Journal of the Watcher, The Remedy New Testament Paraphrase, The Remedy Psalms, Could It Be This Simple, God Is Love, and Biblical Concepts Workbook.
Many came by to express their appreciation of our ministry, while others gave a mix of expressions ranging from doubt to surprise to gratitude that all of our materials presented on our 16 foot long table in the exhibit hall booth and 8 foot table in our upper mezzanine booth were free. Those in doubt and perplexed asked how we can do this, give away all these high-quality and high-cost publications for free, to which we responded that it’s because when people appreciate what they read, finding that it changes their lives and moves them closer to God, they’re moved to give freely. We told them we have never and will never campaign for or solicit operating funds nor sell materials to cover costs, because we operate solely on the principle of “freely you have received, freely give.” God does the rest.
