How do we experience the same joy Jesus did while yet in the midst of the sorrows and struggles of this sinful world?

I recently received an email from an occasional listener who values much of what Come And Reason Ministries teaches but who also voiced concerns that I am “attacking” the Seventh-day Adventist Church and causing division rather than bringing unity. Let me set the record straight.

I have heard various arguments made on keeping “the law” that focus on a rules-oriented approach, alleging that not keeping one rule means we are guilty of breaking all the law. Jesus even says as much, but what did he actually mean?
