Psalms ◦ Chapter 70

1Act now, O God, to heal me;
O Lord, come quickly to help me!

2Those who seek to kill me
will reap shame and humiliation;
all who desire my ruin
will run away in disgrace.

3Those who say, "Aha, we’ve got him now!"
will be crushed by their own shame.

4But all who seek you and your methods
will rejoice and be glad when united with you;
all those who love your healing remedy will proclaim,
"The Creator God is great!"

5Yet I am terminal and need your remedy;
come quickly to me, O God.
You are my help and my cure;
O Lord, come quickly and heal me!
