the power of the Lord is heard in the thunder;
the Creator designed the many waters. 4The voice of the Creator is powerful;
the voice of the Creator is magnificent.5The voice of the Creator breaks the cedars;
the Creator shatters the cedars of Lebanon.6He makes the mountains of Lebanon dance like a calf,
Mount Hermon jump like a bull.7The voice of the Lord is creative energy —
the source of lightning bolts. 8The voice of the Creator shakes the wilderness;
the Creator shakes the Desert of Kadesh.9The thunder of the Creator bends large trees
and strips the forest bare.
All the intelligences in his dwelling place marvel at the majesty of the Creator. 10The Creator overrules the flood;
The Creator governs as King forever.11The Creator gives life to those who trust him;
the Lord restores them to perfect health.
