Psalms ◦ Chapter 13

1O Lord, don’t leave me here forever!
I pray that you turn to me.

2How long must I fight my own thoughts,
be torn by daily heartache,
and endure the ridicule of my enemy?

3See me, O Lord my God, and talk to me.
Enlighten my mind lest I rest in death.

4Don’t let my enemy boast, "I have crushed him."
Don’t give the adversary a chance to celebrate my defeat.

5I have absolute confidence in your never-failing love;
my heart triumphs in your life-giving remedy.

6I will sing praises to you, my God,
for you are always good to me.
