1"Don't let fear and doubt trouble your hearts. Put your full trust in God and trust me too.2In my Father's home, there is room for all who want to be there; if this were not true, I would have told you. I am going there to direct all my Father’s resources who are not only preparing heaven for you, but also preparing you for heaven.3And when all things are ready, I will come back and take everyone who has been brought back into unity with the principles of heaven to be there with me, so that we may all be together.4You now know the way to the place where I am going."5Thomas was confused and said, "But Lord, we don't know where you are going, or how to get there, so how can we know the way?"6Jesus answered gently, "I am the Way back to my Father, I am the Truth revealing my Father's character and the principles upon which life is based, I am the Source of all life. I am the Bridge, and no one comes to the Father except through me–because all truth revealing the Father has been provided by me.7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well, for the Father and I are One. From now on, you do know him and have seen him, for I am the Father's thoughts made visible and audible."8Philip then said, "Lord, then show us the Father, and that will be all we ever need."9Jesus answered patiently, "Don't you know me, Philip, even after all I have said and done among you over these years together? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. Don't you understand that I am an exact representation of the Father? So how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?10Don't you believe that I am in complete unity with the Father–in mind, heart, attitude, character, method, disposition, principle and will–and the Father is in unity with me? The words I speak are not my own ideas or methods, but are the exact thoughts of my Father whose character and principles live in me. His work is being carried out through me.11Believe me when I tell you that I am in complete unity in every way with my Father, and he is in complete unity in every way with me; or at least believe all the evidence I have provided that reveals this truth.12I tell you the truth: Anyone who genuinely trusts me will also be in unity with the Father and will reveal his character–just as I have been doing. His life will be a further revelation of the life-giving power of God and the healing power of his methods. My life reveals the truth of God's character and methods; but those who trust in me will reveal that God's methods, when applied in trust via the Spirit of God, actually heal and transform those who are deformed by sin. I am going to the Father.13And I will do whatever you ask–that is in harmony with my character, methods, and principles–so that the Son may bring honor and glory to the Father by revealing the healing and life-giving power of his methods.14You may ask me for anything in harmony with my character and methods, and I will do it.15"If you love me, you will practice all my methods and principles because you understand, agree, and prefer my ways.16And the Father and I will give you another Helper to be with you forever–17the Spirit of Truth, who will enlighten your minds to comprehend the truth. Those who prefer the methods of this world — the methods of deceit — cannot accept him, because, having rejected truth, they don’t recognize or know him. But you know him, for you know me; and he represents all that I am. He will establish my character, methods and principles within you.18I will not abandon you and leave you as orphans; I will come back to you.19It is not long until I leave this world. Those who reject me also reject the Spirit of Truth, and therefore their minds will be so darkened that they will no longer be able to see me or comprehend my character and methods. But you will continue to see and understand me more and more, because you accept the Spirit of Truth. Because I live, you, who have accepted me, will also live.20On the day I leave this world, you will finally know that I am in every way in complete unity with the Father; and you are in unity with me, and I with you.21Those who understand my methods and principles, and incorporate them into their lives, are the ones who love me and embrace all that I stand for. Those who love me will be transformed back into complete perfection by my Father, and I too will love them back to health, and share myself with them."22Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) asked, "But Lord, why will you show yourself to us and not to the rest of the world?"23Jesus answered, "All are given freedom to choose their own course. Those who love me will choose to practice all my methods and principles because they understand, agree, and prefer my ways. My Father will transform such ones back into perfection, and we will be united with them, and make our home with them.24But those who do not love me will reject truth and evidence, and choose not to practice my methods and principles. The words I have spoken are not mine only; they are the words of the Father who sent me.25"I have said all this while I'm still with you.26But the Helper — the Holy Spirit — whom the Father will send as my representative will enlighten your minds with all truth and will remind you of all the evidence I have given you.27Peace with God, and peace of heart and mind, I leave with you; my perfect peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives, expecting to get something in return. No! I give freely, because I love you and want only the best for you. So don't worry or let your hearts be consumed with fear and doubt.28"You heard me say 'I am going away,' but I am coming back to be with you. If you love me, you will realize that this is for your benefit, and you will be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is even greater than I. 29I have told you before it happens, so that when it does, you will be confident that I do know the beginning from the end — and none of this has taken me by surprise — and your confidence in me will then increase.30I will not be here to speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world of selfishness is coming. He has no right to harm me, and there is nothing I have done that warrants his malice toward me,31but the world must learn the truth that all I do is from love for the Father. Therefore, I will finish the work that the Father has given me to do–reveal the truth about the Father's supreme love, perfect character and faultless methods, and procure the Remedy to sin — while exposing Satan for the liar and murderer he is, and his methods as the source of all destruction and death. Come, it is time for us to leave."
