Christmas & The Christian
November 19, 2010 Bible Answers That Make Sense, Blogs, Life's Tough Questions Tim Jennings, M.D.

Since the season is fast approaching I was wondering if you could give some insights on the topic of Christians and Christmas. I have heard arguments on both sides, and both seem convincing. Those who are against it point to the pagan roots of Christmas, and those who are for it point to the benefits of Christmas in reaching souls for Christ. So how does one find balance?

Competitive Sports – Spiritually Healthy or Not?
November 12, 2010 Blogs, Life's Tough Questions Tim Jennings, M.D.

July 26, 2010 Blogs, Family and Relationship Health, Life's Tough Questions Tim Jennings, M.D.

I do have a matter that presses on my heart that I would like some clarification on.  It is that of self-care.

I know you encourage self-care and I do understand the importance of what I think self-care is, however, in this day and age of people crying out for “me” time, are there any biblical principles that clarify what self-care is?
